Northwest Forest Coalition Seeks Contract Organizer

The Northwest Forest Coalition is a partnership of conservation and fishing organizations seeking to secure increased protection of Oregon’s Tillamook and Clatsop State Forests, in part through the establishment of protected conservation areas on these state forests. Core members of the Northwest Forest Coalition include the Oregon Chapter of the Sierra Club, Wild Salmon Center, Association of Northwest Steelheaders, and Trout Unlimited.

The Northwest Forest Coalition is seeking a driven, self-directed professional to serve as one of three contract organizers in the Pacific Northwest. The Grassroots Organizer will mobilize support in Washington County to press key decision makers for stronger conservation protections for state forests on Oregon’s North Coast. This position will advance the coalition’s organizing, advocacy, and public education efforts in Washington County and complement the work of other coalition organizers in Tillamook and Clatsop Counties.
